Here at Mindful Mama Care, Natalie believes the family unit is the most important foundation in life. So, she strives to honor each family as they are. Informed support is her motto. With over a decade of experience, she intends to help families establish birth and postpartum goals, supportive routines and healthy life-style rhythms that promote physical and mental well-being.
She is deeply passionate about maternal-child health. In other words, cultivating a strong family bond is a one of her core values. Her journey as a doula began in 2012. Prior to this, she worked in childcare. It's been over ten years since she began working with families. Her background in childcare revealed to her the grit required to raise children. Showing up to do the work does not intimidate her. Her commitment to you as your doula is resolute. The history of Mindful Mama Care is founded in knowledge, education, and advocacy related to childbirth.
Her goals are to provide an extra pair of hands and beneficial information to harmoniously support family's before, during and after birth. Through informed support, like childbirth education and breast/bottle-feeding guidance, Natalie hopes families are equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions. She hopes to foster feelings of confidence and trust so that her clients may thrive as parents.
Her education and time are dedicated toward the health and well-being of the mother-baby dyad. With this in mind, she pursued certification as a massage therapist, postpartum doula, and lactation counselor. She is also a DONA trained birth doula with an intent to certify. Having advanced her knowledge through a bachelors in health science, she feels she is a valuable resource for families. Ultimately, improved health outcomes in maternal and infant care are Natalie's main objectives. Together, Natalie and her family partnerships can create a foundation of love and support that will extend throughout one’s life-time.
